How To Make These Easy Paper Angel Christmas Decorations

These paper angel Christmas tree decorations and ornaments are so easy to make! You can use whatever you have lying around the house to create them: cardstock, wrapping paper, wallpaper and magazines all work well. They are a fun Christmas craft and a great DIY to get kids involved with. Make them at home this Christmas by following this simple tutorial!

You Will Need:

Take your two square pieces of paper and fold them in accordion style. To ensure your folds are the same width, first, fold the paper in half. Open it up and fold either side into the central scoring line. You’ll now have four pre-scored fold lines as a guide to accordion fold.

To make the angel wings, fold your paper a quarter of the way down from the top. Match up your two paper pieces after doing the first fold so both folds are the same height, one left and one right. Apply a strip of Crafter’s Companion tape underneath to secure the wings.

Join the two halves together with a strip of Crafter’s Companion tape. Before you secure them, drop in a loop of thread in order to be able to hang your decoration and attach the head.

Thread through your wooden bead to make the head and secure it with glue (I use a mini hot glue gun). Add another dot of glue at the base of the head to secure the mini ribbon.

And that’s it! A simple but effective recyclable Christmas craft that can be hung on your tree or attached decoratively to gifts.
