10 Of The Best Round And Irregular-Shaped Wall Mirrors

Curvy and circular wall mirrors have held firm as a home decor favourite for a number of years as the smooth shapes are pleasing to the eye, while the gentle bend of the frame can soften boxy square rooms. Going one step further than a simple round shape are irregular mirrors: freeform and wavy-edged, they have a very modern yet casual quality about them. I am often asked where I source the round mirrors found in my home when I post a picture of them on Instagram, so I thought I would compile a list of my top ten current curvy favourites!

Pebble Wall Mirror - Dunelm

Dunelm is a great place to source modern-shaped mirrors at a very reasonable price. This Pebble Mirror from their latest ‘Curves’ collection is an admirable full-length that would best suit a bedroom or hallway.

Naturalist Mirror - Pottery Barn Kids

Yes, this wall mirror may be sold via a children’s retailer, but there is nothing about it that confines it to a kids’ room. The bobbins provide a lot of visual interest, but the fact that they are whitewashed softens up the overall look (if you are after a statement bobbin mirror, keep scrolling down the page).

Organic Shaped Statement Mirror - NEXT

A high street ‘inspired version’ of the very popular Ferm Living Pond Mirror, this can be used as a full-length or vertical mirror as there are no hanging rules when it comes to irregular shapes.

The Habitat Patsy in my sitting room.

Patsy Mirror - Habitat

I’ve had my Habitat Patsy mirror above my fireplace for a good few years now and I never tire of it! One of Habitat’s best-selling products, it’s remained a staple in their product catalogue even though the brand has now moved under the wing of Argos and Sainsburys.

Matilda Round Gold Mirror - Graham & Green

I absolutely love this pretty wavy gold-edged mirror from Graham & Green. It’s a really elegant take on the circular mirror and works well in both modern and more traditional interior schemes.

Klara Scallop Flower Hanging Wall Mirror

With a bevelled edge, there is a vintage element to this floral scallop-shaped mirror from Oliver Bonas. It’s 60cm in diameter, but thin and light enough to be hung from a chain if you’d prefer (rather than being fixed directly to the wall).

Fine Edge Mirror Organic - Heal’s

Available in four frame colours and two sizes, this freeform mirror from Heal’s looks good hung above a mantel, or simply suspended on a plain wall. This mirror has acquired a number of fans amongst interior Instagrammers, so follow the Heal’s hashtag #HealsHome to see it styled several ways in various settings.

Beaded Ball Round Wall Mirror - John Lewis & Partners

If you’ve scrolled down looking for that statement bobbin mirror, then this John Lewis number is it! 100cm wide and sprayed black, this on-trend piece is good value compared to others available that are similar in detailing.

Henry Holland Bean Blob Mirrors - Freemans

I’ve bigged up the Henry Holland collection for Freemans on this blog before, but it really is a great collection to get modern, designer pieces for a lower price tag. I especially like Henry’s irregular mirrors because they come in colourful frames rather than your usual black, gold or bronze (his are terracotta, blue and green).

If none of these designs suit, then do check out the new mirror company Neutypechic which has launched a wide range of circular, arched and irregular-shaped wall mirrors.
