The Best Budget Buys From Dunelm's SS24 Trend-Led Home Decor and Furniture Collections
UK high street leaders Dunelm recently showcased their latest home decor and new furniture ranges for spring and summer 2024 at a big event in London; when I shared the new ranges on my Instagram and TikTok accounts I had such positive feedback on the new homeware pieces, I thought that we should take a closer look at them today on the blog.
The good news is that Dunelm has picked up on the fact that most people want to refresh their homes at the start of the New Year, so a lot of the key new pieces are already available to buy online with more coming in the next few weeks (so you don’t have to wait until the start of spring to get hold of these latest products).
What Dunelm does particularly well and what sets them apart from other retailers at their level is to have a very dedicated design team who are always looking well ahead of other high street brands at interior and home decor trends. They keep a keen eye on the evolving, popular looks that generate the most interest on social media and by the time that style hits the mainstream consumer, they are ready to meet demand by having these trend-led pieces available online or in-store at an accessible price point.
Like last year’s Pride & Joy collection, Dunelm’s 2024 Heart and Soul range embraces those ‘most-have’ looks. Think gingham cushions with a ruffled edge, embroidered textiles, scallop-edge and striped rugs, wavy rim lampshades, checkerboard towels and artisan-painted flower prints.
New additions to the popular Churchgate range include stair runners and freestanding cabinets in sage green. For those who embrace the more minimalist, popular Japandi look, there are new modular sofas in tonal beige with accompanying circular boucle cushions.
Other top picks include garden furniture ranges in one of 2024’s key colours: soft blue. For interior furniture, there are Tom Dixon-inspired dining chairs and chunky detailed storage cabinets. There’s a large new collection of tableware including a new collaboration with seafood restaurant Rockfish featuring fish print plates. Finally, their DIY section has expanded to include an exclusive paint range with RustOleum and scallop wood trim for upcycling projects.
Most items from the new Dunlelm collection for SS24 will be available from January. All imagery used in this post belongs to and is used courtesy of Dunelm.
